One thing I'll never understand about Jay stans and Ether...

Stop assuming stuff.
In each ether thread I've posted in this week I've mentioned that I prefer and love ether, but that I believe it's not the job of any diss track to give facts, just twist reality enough to really get under someone's skin and stick with fans, which goes for Takeover as well.
Anyone using diss tracks as some semblance of facts are idiots.

Pretty much sums up the result.
I'm a fan of both but man I swear y'all are tripping acting like Ether is a better SONG than Takeover. Arguably the better DISS RECORD with deeper-cutting insults but as a SONG takeover is better and has more replayability IMO
Why would you want to repeatedly listen to someone doing the lyrical equivalent of Neagan beating someone's head in? Like that's really enjoyable or some shyt 16 years later and they've done multiple songs together since.
At least takeover has a hard beat that you can hit the gym to

They're irrelevant as hell. That's what i was trying to imply with the smilies. nikkas moving goal posts like shyt... In three years nikkas will bring up how Blueprint was the better album so that's why Takeover was the better diss.

When is Nas new album coming out? How's Dave East doing? What's that Mass Appeal roster looking like? It's cool that ya'll have this one day a year to reflect on something that happened almost 2 decades ago but the reality is Nas hasn't really done shyt since then. Bevel and LIG? What else?

I answered these questions. I don't know much about Dave East and I don't know anything about Mass Appeal. I'm a fan of the music, not the music business.
