You don't win the MVP trophy with less than 50 wins... It hasn't happened since Moses Malone in 1979 (47 wins with the Rockets).

Nash deserved that MVP as much if not more than Rose did in 2011

When I look back at that season and who made an impact in the regular season then yeah you can sorta see why the reporters were ready to give it to Nash who was part of that whole start to the Suns run and gun style.
Most times you can sort of understand why a player wins an MVP in a season

Its only when you take a step back and analyze careers and see who comes up short that it makes no sense. But thats why I think regular season MVP dont have to be as coveted as they should be.

Nash might be the worst player with ONE MVP, career wise (well, Derrick Rose, but it's so early in his career).
