Lets concentrate on that bold statement, that supporting cast was at the bottom of the division before kidd got there and the two seasons after he arrived they are all of a sudden in the finals. It's not like there was a full team revamp, they just added Kidd, much like the thread topic with Nash, they just added Nash to the bunch. MVP is not defined as the best player necessarily, it is who is more valuable to your team. So lets think about this, adding one guy after being a laughing stock and then making to the finals two years straight is VALUE!!!!

Steve deserved one of em because he balled the fukk out in Phoenix (on offense). However, we all know why he got that 2nd one.

Jason kidd got robbed, he took that sorry ass team to the finals and was clearly had the biggest impact in the league that year. Jason is also a better player than Steve. Jason isn't the shooter Steve is, but his defense and rebounding is way better. And the passing and play making is about equal.
