only place she lost me was saying new orleans had irish & italian influence so they sounded more like new yorkers

never got that vibe from hearing them talk

This seems like a reach just to argue that southern accents are more "dignified" than perceived. All White American accents have origins in Europe.

@old boy but she makes a point tho. The way they say “nawlins” would sound similar to a New Yorker pronouncing that exact same word.

We don’t say NAWLINS because we aren’t from there and we call it New Orleans.
We don't say "NAWLINS" either fam that shyt is just a goofy nickname that caught on
