He's always been salty and I dont' take anything he says seriously. He's just a bitter old man.

learn your history, and you'd understand why hes salty.

his legacy is stuck where michael jordan's would be stuck at if jordan actually stood for something.

greatest player ever IMO

THIS.

and espn didnt even put him in the top 10.

i'd be mad as f*ck if i appeared on that station after that too.

They a good team but i dont think theyre 51-5 good, they beat alot of bad teams and bad defensive teams who arent doing enough to try to beat them in a the regular season :yeshrug:

If you watch alot of these games,ALOT of teams play lazy defense against them and dont make any kind of proper adjustments, they just hope they start missing...
You are completely wrong on this point - you couldn't be more further from the truth. I can tell you now, there's no other team in the league that gets the best effort/preperation night in night out, from their opponents than the Warriors do. Which makes what GS are doing all that more impressive.

Coaches today pretty much are the same..

And to be honest (and this may get me killed) it's all playground basketball..nobody run set plays any more. That's why there are no adjustments made anymore. How can you adjustment is you while style is based on free flowing, make up as you go bball..There is no difference in offenses anymore. All the team's run some form of this Sloan/Pringles/Spurs style offense...

Is this the go to dismissal of any old school cat who gives an honest assessment of the current NBA game? You tell me how many different plays you see GS run. Every team in the league relies on the pick n roll. Coaches can't coach. The coach of the best team in the league(maybe ever...........:mjlol:) is on record shytting on the modern style of play just before he got the GS job and he just watched his team get off to the best start in NBA history without him on the bench. It's time to stop tryna dismiss anybody who calls out the league for what is as an "old grumpy man".
It's not an "honest assessment" - it's a misinformed assessment.

It's funny how folks say he's bitter about the money when he actually played an active role in helping to create the change that allows players make such money. Same nikkas dissing him as a bitter old man would be the same ones talking bout "see look at what the legendary GOAT has to say :obama:" if he was saying what they wanted to hear. I don't always agree with him, shyt I don't often agree with him, but I respect the hell out of him as a person that stood up during his day and actually did something (on top of being one of the greatest players ever) and a person that doesn't just go blindly along with whatever the popular narrative may be. It's :comeon: how sensitive cats are about the Warriors. Every great team before them in recent history received all kinds of scrutiny and questions and "back in my day" and "so and so would've" type shyt, especially paradigm changers. Either you can handle being on top and trying make history or you can't :manny:.

Oscar may be bitter, but I mean...
No offense to Jerry, but if I'm Oscar and I wake up everyday knowing Jerry West is "The Logo", I'd be bitter
If I'm Oscar and I wake up everyday knowing people acknowledge Bird as "Mr. Indiana Basketball", I'd be bitter
If I'm Oscar and the general consensus is that Pistol Pete revolutionized the passing game from the off-guard position, I'd be bitter
If I'm Oscar and Hoosiers, considered to be one of the greatest sports movies of all time has become a part of revisionist history and people assume its accurate, I'd be bitter

And for those of you who say that players from that generation are athletically inferior to today's player and couldn't even share the same court with the likes of Lebron or Kobe or MJ, you may be right, but it takes a pioneer to inspire future generations to achieve what was once considered unattainable. While it's absurd today, in the 50's and 60's, a player 6'5 had no business rebounding or dribbling or passing let alone putting up double-digit assists and rebounds on a routine basis. You wouldn't have the crossover without the head and shoulder fake which Oscar was doing before anybody and you wouldn't have the fadeaway without the turn around jumper he revolutionized due to teams putting taller defenders on him.

He mostly said the coaches dont understand the game and they don't play defense the way they should

It's mostly true

How many times do you see guys running under the screen with Steph behind the line popping the 3

I watched the Bulls play the Wizards without their star players and they're making layups like it's a drill

No rotation no switching

Sh*ts disgusting breh
I was talking about this last night in the Heat v GS thread. Hassan's pick n roll defense in the last 2 minutes was just mind-boggling:francis:

oscar was also saying that if somebody hit a three pointer on him or if they knew a opponent was was a dangerous shooter..they would check him from the inbond,(fullcourt press)

his point being that nba defenses now are not being engaged/checked untill dudes hit the free throw line so they have freedomn to move and score..

so basically he wants full court press on steph curry all game...

would that work?:jbhmm:

props to you:salute:
