we listened to you and you were wack as fuk

You never listened to none of my material and real talk.
I rap better than who you Stan.
So you can't authenicate your severely lacking taste.
as the governing ideal of quality for me as an artist.
As the artist you Stan in rap.
shows you don't know quality and you don't know the culture.
Plus, dually proved you don't know shyt about anything we are here to post about.
You definitely not about the culture of hip hop.
You are a toy.
So, why do you continue with this bullshyt.
We know why, because I EXPOSE toys like you and you are powerless to stop it.

A lodge of the Saints John of Jerusalem
man... I'll never forget an experience I had in '04.

My distant cousin was an entertainment lawyer in Jersey. He invites me to come with him to see a hip hop show with Kiss, Fat Joe, Lloyd Banks and Lil Scrappy. Backstage.

A limo picks us up and there's 4 cacs sitting in the limo sipping champagne. And I'm like: 'wtf are these cacs doing here? aren't we going to the hip hop show?'.

Turns out they were label guys - 3 guys and 1 girl. It's me and my cousin - the only Black people in this limo.

We get backstage. Cacs are greeting the artists as they and their entourage come through metal detectors. Kiss, Lloyd and Scrappy had their lawyers with em. All cacs.

And I thought: 'wow, there are more white people in this hip hop shyt than I thought. and they're running shyt'

Great read. I always say that 1984 is the cut-off for experiencing hip hop in its prime. I'm biased to 84 being born that year, but honestly, I think shyt starts to change for kids born in '86 and onwards. Partly because they were teens when Ja Rule, Nelly and Eminem came through so pop rap is all they know.

Whereas I came into being a teen in '97. I was into pop rap like Mase (Mase could still spit though) and getting into Wu-tang, DMX, Lox, Gangstarr, etc because that was hot in 97/98.

truth.com unfortunately.
Lionel Richie had a similar experience, and that's what prompted him to major in economics while going to Tuskegee.

When the Commodores where coming up, they used to open for major artists around the south. He said when he got to one gig, he saw all these limos and shyt out back, and assumed they belong to the stars only to find out they belonged to the white folks eating off them. That changed the way he looked at the biz, and that's why that breh was a FORCE in the 80s and still has his bread and piece of mind.

Weird that Pac has all but disappeared from these types of lists. I think Wayne has taken his spot with these hipster kids? Usually these lists have the usual Pac, Big, Jay, Em in some sort of top 5 order then a smattering of stupid choices mixed with "look at me aren't I cool I know who Rakim is, I'm so Hip Hop!" type spots.
White people have an agenda to erase Tupac from all relevant anything in society. He and his family waged war on white America and have been scattered and chased ever since. These two work for the white establishment (note the police blue (symbolic of the blue wall) garb pictured in Jay elects twitter shots)...it's funny, they really think they can disconnect him from future youth generations ...shyt is RACIST COMEDY

Why you trying to flip this into some shyt about the SSEP?:mjlol: Breh, I heard the shyt at the time, but who gives a fukk really? Do you consider Em top 10 off that EP? Ice Cube is my favorite rapper of all time, but he aint getting into no top 10 because of Kill At Will alone. You the one deflecting by trying to shift what the bottomline of the topic is, to make it about me and my knowledge of Hip Hop.

I do not understand why you riding so hard for this subpar ass rap artist. You think SSEP is better than Vol. 1, Wu-Tang Forever, Life After Death, The Art of War, Adrenaline Rush, R U Still Down?

I already answered about where Eminem is.
You and this misguided contingent of others take this fake mantra like you are these freedom fighters for the culture with this I hate em shyt and it is fully misguided culturally.

This is not about Eminem being ranked.
This is just because you don't like Eminem, period.

It is not about the ranking and you know it.
I already been ranted on how and what skills Eminem has and does not possess.
Plus, how he is not a ranked all time rapper.
In the rankings that help distinguish cultural relevency and accuracy.
Including numerous times why ranking past a top five makes no sense.
After the six rappers I named and the explanation of why there are six rappers in the top five.

There's multiple names on this list that scream White Hipster trendy rap fan.

I think if a top 10 doesn't include at least 2 out of these 7 ( LL, BDK, Rakim, KRS, Slick Rick, Kool G Rap, Ice Cube), then I question your knowledge/appreciation of Hip Hop history and your list is in question.

I know once you get past that top 5 or 6 that a list becomes messy and subjective, but throwing people in with no catalogue or not enough time is bullshyt.

Lauryn Hill and Andre 3000 have careers equivalent to DHs or 6th men. They can't be better than full time great solo artists like Ice Cube.

white people have capital($$$) black people DONT. even when black people are semi successful, they usually need extra capital to re-up and extrend their business. guess where this capital comes from? if it aint street drug money(which they will hunt you down for and get you once you blow up see Murder Inc and the likes). it's coming from White people. because again, who else has the capital in this country? White people.

so white people can create magazines about black people's cultures. white people can afford to go to good elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and have good SAT scores and good grades to slide into college and do well in a good college they can afford. which will give them that piece of paper so they can be the editor of said magazines.

This my friends is how the game works. blacks on the other hand due to white supremacy for 100's of years(still going). have to resort to pure talent and hustle to get theirs. So why are you are pushing your talent and hustling, praying some rich white man gives you some money to push your talent to the masses. They are the rich white men or their children. just strolling along the nice path of white privilege which includes appropriation of your culture.

White people are the biggest consumers of hip hop though ... Who would buy the music/merchandise if they didn't ?

Also it's 2015....technology has lowered the barrier of entry into business/distribution and even access to information
You can code, crowdfund, outsource, connect with your fanbase and form partnerships with companies

The media outlets starting in 1993.
Already processed having krs erased in white public media.
if we go by this list and the entire completion of how things have been skewed.
When, krs is the most important man of our generation and culture of hip hop, period.

In basic theory you can..
Yet, after the first fall of the internet in 2001.
The idea you could do it as well as the action of doing it was cut off from ever being effective.
When the fall of the internet made the internet into a completely corporate fueled and controlled medium.
Yes, you can start a startup and possibly do that.
Yet, the ability to actually be profitable and successful kies in them being a gatekeeper to that.
When, before none of that existed as a deterrent from you being successful or profitable.

I had an indie label, put out a few projects and then tried to pull my friends into the game and show them how to make money in the game...sadly, i got burned out, i had the right vision but worked with people who feared success.

I had my own studio, production team, engineer and film crew.

One day i woke up after having a falling out with 2 artist for their lack of business acumen and decided to take a few years off.

Its been a year and im starting to get that itch to get back in the game...but this time ima start back again but do shows in nyc with artist such as fabolous, ghostface, dave east and so forth.

Im just stacking my money up and have 0 business partners.

Dude, if you're interested, I know some folks over in jersey that are hungry but looking for a way in the bizz but don't wanna be ganked. They're rappers and producers that are nice and got some good music out on the low but need a push. Holla at me through the pm if you're interested.

Why do nikkas get all mad and pay so much attention everytime a CAC puts out a best rapper list?

"They ain't got Willie d"

Boo hoo nikka who cares

Well before 1997, and elp/hiohopinfinity.com and the wack rapper emo movement of sole/anticon and company flow.
None of this shyt was effective.
Yet, when slug drew a line in the sand.
It allowed their type to be a lamprey kn a big shark and swim into all the doorways that slug bust down for emo as a genre.

Breh you confusing me with dudes that shyt on Em nonstop for being a Cac and other nonsense. Em is simply overrated because of his popularity and full embrace by white folks who don't even like hip-hop loving the fact that they can have a white boy being one of the Goats in a genre dominated by blacks on some Tiger Woods shyt. The reason I don't like Em is because his music is terrible. If he continued to drop albums on par with his first 2, I'd love and defend dude against the haters. Why is Em so special I should cape for him? I don't cape for no artists that have terrible discographies.

Lol, at you grasping for straws against the real.
You are so ineffective, you mad about the shyt.
It is hilarious.
Look at this mad bytch ass toy guys.

Look at his failure to be self deprecating in his username never working.
Look at his choice of who he stans exposing him self as a gay dress wearing fakkit.
You choose the wrong nikkaz to go against.
Just like you choose the wrong stance and the wrong artist to Stan.

It is hilarious, it is only a matter of time.
Before I mentally cause you to have a meltdown on this board.

Tables month is only a little bit away, too.

Imma make you have a dear coli moment, and it is only a matter of time.
I should not have even told you about what you are going to do.
As you are going to swim against the tide trying to prove the inevitable.
The inevitable being,... you are a jealous fakkit bytch nikka.
