Those album sales seem off 
Mobb got three gold albums plus a platinum. That’s 2.5 million right there and really it’s more because Infamous was at about 750,000 in 96. Plus whatever @JuvenileHell sold and Free Agents, Amerikaz Nightmare, Blood Money and Infamous Mobb Deep.
So how is Mobb only at 2.5 million units in this video?

Kast is by far the most successful (and greatest) rap group ever. Mobb Deep's appeal was a little more regional so I dont think this really a fair comparison. RIP P.
Mobb is the greatest duo of all time.

I don't understand the point of this comparison. Yeah, they were both hot in the 90s... but this is for the childrens. Look at how this shyt will make Mobb look as if they were some underground sensation or something smh.
Children, unless they do an astonishing amount of homework, are basically just casual fans, so they won't really know what was what anyway.

They got help from Q-Tip on the Infamous and then had some outside producers on Murda Muzik as well.

Not following your logic here.
Saying "Outkast needed Dungeon Family, Hav and P did all the work" is over looking the fact that Mobb Deep was from NY and Outkast is from ATL, which wasn't really on anyone's radar back then, rap-wise. Being from NY was a hell of a lot bigger advantage than having the Dungeon Family in the 90's.
