“The label was”
Ok bro looks like we back to square one cause you keep telling me a fact in a sentence and then use that fact to justify your point
My point: “laface was a rnb label that marketed their hip hop in an rnb way”
You: “laface didnt like elevators and kast pushed it and it blew up. So they let kast pick they singles. THAT MEANS THEY HAD NO SAY IN THE PRODUCT”
you been doing that all thread. Thats what the news does dont do that breh
No, the point you were trying to make is that Mobb is more Hip Hop than Kast. That's why there's an argument. You attempted to prove that argument by saying Kast was R&B influenced, which is plausible if you're also acknowledging that most every Hip Hop artist of that era was just as R&B influenced if not more. Then you moved on to say Kast (along with Biggie) pioneered R&B influenced Hip Hop, which has no ground or legs to stand on being that other acts used this same formula before them.
In what way were Kast marketed in an R&B way?
They had say in the product. If they had no say, they wouldn't be producing songs on their own album. Secondly, La Face would've still had influence over their single choices.
