As usual, Bomani seemed to have the most reasonable take on the situation:ehh:

The Right Time with Bomani Jones- Hour 1

Said if people really "cared" they would stop watching Dallas games, but they won't, cause its just lazy/fake outrage. :yeshrug:
Yeah I agree with this even though he hasn't saw the pics at least he said so yesterday. I don't think it would change his mind much but them pics don't match what people call a "beating". It just looks like something physical happened now what I don't know and them pics don't tell a clear cut story IMO unless you one of them never touch women types.

Off-topic but on: I like manziel because he's uncut fukkery personified. But that clown needs to be suspended like Josh Gordon got suspended

plus he got physical with a woman too:mjpls:
Right, where's Deadspin/OTL investigative reporting on his girlfriend's Joyride of HELL:demonic:

...and, there's ACTUAL video/audio tape clear EVIDENCE of Johnny's FUKKERY:skip:

Oh, wait:mjpls:

I mean, if you knew what every person in organizations you "support" did
when they went home, you'd find yourself not "supporting" a lot of things/places.

Did you remove yourself from supporting the 49ers in the aftermath of the
Ray McDonald and Aldon Smith debacles? If they came back to the team, would
you regret each time they got a sack? Or do you have the mental maturity to be able
to seperate their professional selves from their personal selves?

But clearly you don't, so i can't just assume everyone is abusing women driving drunk and so on and so forth.

I didn't remove myself for rooting for the team, but i vocally opposed keeping those players on the team.

It's not about mental maturity, it's about having a conscience enough to notice their profession is very menial in the grand scheme of things. They play a silly game, which has zero effect on society whatsoever. So knowing that, i can choose to be vocally opposed to said players and also not root for them when they do well.

I was super excited when they both got released, i`m glad we're finally showing some responsibility in who we employ, but then they sign Jerome Simpson. I know sports will always work in a certain way, but it's a fans responsibility to advocate and speak up about these types of things, just my opinion. It will eventually make the game and the league a better place.

If Gred Hardy never played a down again, it would do nothing to hurt the game at all, and would actually let people know this type of stuff isn't tolerated. Now i`m not saying suspend him for life, i said i`m fine with how this all played out, i think he should have served 10 games, but whatever it's done now.

I just hope one day we don't have to hear about this type of stuff as often, so i don't have to explain to my daughter why someone who threatened to kill, choked and slammed a woman is making 10m a year and is supported by this sport.

When the ratings come out this week for the Cowboys game I can guarantee you there won't be a dramatic drop in viewership. :yeshrug:

If people were THAT outraged at the situation they would be calling for a full on boycott of the Cowboys I PROMISE you. When that small bakery in Iowa refused to serve gays there was a LGBT MOVEMENT to shut them down almost instantly. If this was such a pressing issue for everyone there would be a similar level of action, not just words.

You're definitely correct here.

I`m just saying if you think the only people upset about this are NFL fans, that isn't the case.

But maybe a woman's group should protest the cowboys outside the stadium or something

Exactly Rihanna pics look like a "beating". Now obviously some thing happened but when people say a beating you aren't expecting those pics. No choke marks, black eyes, etc but dude was mad as shyt at his height, weight, strength and that's all that happened? I'm pretty sure we've all been mad before and that's not the maximum damage we could inflict and most of us aren't that big and strong. I "beat" somebody up it isn't going to look like they just had back acne. To be honest this seems like the 2015 version of the same tactics they was running in 1915 regarding the black bogey men. The only thing now because racial tension isn't as bad as back then you have blacks co signing this stuff too.

Did you peep the link i posted about how when a man chokes a woman there's a 43% chance he will kill that woman within a year.

I find it really irresponsible and ignorant for anyone to try and quantify the level of damage/terror that this woman went through because they compared photos of another beaten women.

Trying to minimalize Hardy's actions are apart of the problem.

fukk your link. Also its been a year and a half and we haven't heard shyt so again FOH. I find it irresponsible and ignorant for anyone to try and exaggerate the level of damage/terror this woman went through. Don't tell me she been beat and when somebody says somebody got beat them proactiv pics ain't going to be the example they use period. Be obtuse if you want to but exaggeration when others actually or can see the pics/whatever isn't necessary. Let people see them and draw their own conclusions without you leading them if it isn't what the normal standard is for something.

Nope dikkeater I just I agree with his stance on this issue and referenced him since he's somebody we both know that feels the same way. Try again though. You thinking like a bytch so I think you should use your same advice fakkit

I am one of them types, but I'm also not blind. I see women attack men, and how Stephen A. put it, provoke them too. Some women are psycho and abusive (and crave abuse and chaos too), but you don't hear about that. Where's the Hope Solo outrage? There's such a triple standard here, but fukkboi's ruin it for true equality and accountability with their White Knight shyt.

You can be against the abuse of women AND speak out of the triple standards of women, media, and Blacks in the accountability. Doing so doesn't make you a supporter of abuse or scumbags. It's being a fair minded individual and a person who has lived in this world, and not some blind moralist or basement virgin shopping for easy praise.

Sometimes you do know. For example, I myself work with people who do similar chit.
But what they do when they're not at work is none of my business. My concern is my working relationship with them.

You don't believe this, because you can see how big of an effect this "silly game" has on a city,
on a nation, even on yourself, to the point where off-field personnel moves make you "super excited" as you admit...

lol, it's not a "fans' responsibility" to do Jack Squat.

I`m saying it's narrow because in reality, there are people who are very upset by this, and do not watch Dallas Cowboys games.

For him to assume everyone who is upset by this, still tunes in to watch Hardy play, that's not only narrow, but inaccurate.

What are you personally gonna do about the Greg hardy situation?

City of Angels :blessed:
Make no mistake, this is not a black/white thing, this is purely an anti-Dallas Cowboys bias.

Black men such as Tupac and Mike Tyson have actually been FOUND GUILTY of rape but are revered as pop culture icons.

Yet everyone wants to burn Hardy at the stake and condemn the Cowboys for giving him a second chance for a crime he wasn't actually officially guilty of? :patrice:
