1. Russell will be the highest paid player in NFL history. That was part of the reason they so desperately wanted him to get MVP
2. LOB ain't losing any money. Sherman and Thomas got paid last year and Kam the year before that.
3. You are right, Seahawks been trying to dump Lynch for 2 years. They tried to wait out his hold out this year and that didn't work. They tried to phase him out with a rbbc with Turbin and that didn't work at all. But deep down they know without Lynch the Seahawks might not even been in the playoffs. This bad call just made things worse for them because now the entire world thinks Lynch is the key to that offense.
4. Pete is still a great coach, one of the best of the league. But he got cocky and tried to do some cute shyt. Most coaches do that. I seen Beli go for it on 4th down backed up in his own territory.
I agree with most of what you said, but that 1st point, I don't Russ is gonna be the highest paid in the league, his last 2 games he had are the ones GMs can point to and say "maybe he ain't as good as we thought, maybe we can get 'em for cheaper or if all else fails, tag 'em for the year".
I forgot Thomas got paid already, but with Kam gettin' big money next are they gonna have the cash to sign their other big guys or do they think they can get the same production for cheaper, you got Russ, Kam, Lane, Maxwell, Irvin, Lynch, Smith, and maybe Wagner, not sure on a couple of them, but those are some big ass pieces, and you gonna have to pay a lot out to keep some of them, so who gets left out
