At first I was like “this nikka here”, but by the end of it I was like, even tho I don’t agree with everything he’s saying and how he’s saying some of it, the NBA really needs to reckon with the fact that its stars have gone too diva-ish.
And he’s right about the culture coming from top players. LeBron is the father of this load management era. And while it may be the optimal approach from a performance perspective (winning titles, career longevity, etc) when everyone’s hip and using this strategy it cheapens the product.

Ask yourself why Pop making a 35 year old Tim Duncan a healthy scratch was portrayed by the media as “Just resting an old guy” but a 35 year old Bron resting is a stain on the league
The facts are that this concept did not exist in the NBA until the Spurs started doing it. Then Philly copied and called it load management for Embiid and Toronto did the same for Kawhi. Then you started to see it done for Bron, Curry, Zion, etc.
Same shyt goes for the NHL all star games. Them crehs/brehs come out and compete
