How could biggie and them use the shooting to boost there personas, when everyone knew biggie didn’t do it.

Everyone didnt know that biggie didnt do it, only the people involved at the time would have known that.

Puff thought it would be smart to release "who shot ya" and play off the fact that people thought bad boys set pac up.

Biggie had nothing to do with the shooting, but they used the shooting to promote his song. That how they used it to boost their persona.

biggie wasnt rolling with henchman like that, he was just a rapper. they just going around telling everyone who they plan to rob?

Because Puff and maybe Big wanted people to think they had something to do with it.

They released and promoted a song around the publicity called "who shot ya" and talked trash about the nikka while he was locked up.

Why WOULDN'T people think Big knew something when they were clearly acting like they knew something?

In 96, he wasnt popping, baby. I'm very sorry but he wasnt. He was a nobody. Nas, Biggie, Method Man/Redman, and eventually Mase. Junior Mafia and Lox kind of drifted the next year. But Clark Kent wasnt cracking....Johnny J was producing classics on All Eyez On Me as was Daz. DJ Quik too
