Manny had a decent jab at one point, like I said he got used to dummy fighting along the way, his ring IQ/technique has regressed greatly over the years, although I felt he retained his power and a decent amount of his speed, the technique thing comes with training and he clearly has been bullshytting lately, with politics, concerts, acting, etc. He needs a disciplinary to regain form not a yes man like Roach that yes Manny everything and take 10% cake home to boot, Roach shouldnt even allowed a 3rd let alone a 4th JMM match.....
Manny has always struggled with boxers. It just so happened that for a long time he didn't fight any.

Not necessarily true all the time, the HOF on his resume like Cotto ODH, and JMM and Morales 2 cant be discounted.......

Manny is a complex case though, he has looked like shyt vs some boxers, very hard to gauge, something is missing from this eqaution a positive test would allow me to make sense of him blitzing and out boxing people like ODH, Cotto, Margarito while at other times looking like he cant throw a educated jab tripping over his own feet and shyt:manny:

None of those guys you mentioned were anywhere near their peak when they met Pacquiao. Oscar De La Hoya was a washed up fighter who hadn't fought at welter in approximately a decade. A fighter who had his orbital bone broken by Steve Forbes in his prior bout. I don't give credit to Hector Camacho for beating Ray Leonard either. I think the Cotto win was a solid one but his defense sucks which was exactly my point. And Erik Morales was coming off a 12-0 ass whooping by Zaheer Rahim and had to move back down just for the bout. My point stands.

So true, but I'm standing back and not trying to scope him to that degree, those names are still names, shamefully 30 years for now those details wont even matter

To casual fans maybe but we're not casual fans. So while a name is a name, it's about when you fight a name. And fighting De La Hoya in the last bout of his career at a weight he had left 10 years prior ultimately means squat.

Its double edged people dont seem to mention Oscar beating on a old Chavez, or SRL getting gifts vs Hearns
