I hate bytch ass Cotto but he was crying bout the weight from the begining...Arum N the WBO forced him to fight at 145 or hed get stripped N him moving to 154 right after suggests the weight was a problem

He was complaining about the title being on the line and it being a catchweight fight, not so much that he "couldn't" make the weight. I believe it was an interview 2-3 weeks before the fight and he was already 150-152 which is pretty much along the same lines as his previous fights at Welterweight. I just don't buy the notion of Cotto going to 154 after Pacquiao fight and saying Pacquiao drained Cotto. That to me is just reaching to discredit Pacquiao. Cotto's made more excuses recently about Margs hand wraps than ever mentioning Pacquiao's catchweight because Cotto in hindsight knew he wasn't strategically prepared for that fight with a towel boy as his head trainer.

Cotto was already lined up to fight Pacquiao if he had beaten Clottey. Cotto stated just prior to them trying to make Pac vs Cotto 2 before Cotto ended up taking the Mayweather fight that he wasn't going to give up weight this time and that last time it wasn't the weight that lost him the fight (which he's said countless times). Cotto looked in damn good shape for that fight

In comparison to how he looked at the Malignaggi weigh in where he was killing himself to make 140

If Manny knocks out Rios the hype for the fight will begin again. But I wouldn't even care if it got done now cause I feel it is way past due and should have been happened. People can say what they want, but even Floyd's uncle/trainer said Floyd didn't want to get in the ring with Manny. I will never call Floyd a coward, but he wasn't as eager to make that fight as he trying to make it seem.
