Professional sports is not the real world. And I'll stand by that 100%.How are sports insulated from the societies they operate in? The history of all major sports leagues runs against the idea they are some sort of utopia where race doesn't factor and merit is the only deciding factor.
You do realize the numbers of black QB's in the league is unprecedented right? The number of black players in the NFL has stayed constant for decades yet suddenly theres a big increase in black QBs at both college and NFL level. How do you account for this? If professional sports is "not the real world" and winning is the only criteria in roster evaluation, why did it take so long to see this number of black QB's( still not a huge number of starters).
There are more black qbs in the league and in college because high schools are allowing black players to play qb more rather than converting them to a different position.
If you want to argue racism existing on those levels then don't waste your time. I already know it does.
But the nfl, and pro sports is big business. And they aren't worried so much about the color of the player rather the skills and how that player can help the team win.
Like I said, teams can't afford to be racist. If you think all these dudes are so racist then why aren't they passing on the rg3's or cam newtons etc?
They aren't. Because they are great players

Yet only a few pages ago you were Stokely Carmichael of The Coli talking about the plight of the current black QB. Where that tough talkin, Nation of Islam, Black Panther Freedom Fightin negro go?
He's fukkin terrible, do y'all not watch football?
