Remember like a year ago people had her like the future of women's wrestling

Main Roster kills off the women wrestlers.

No one's killed off. Paige is still over and considered the best Diva going by most wrestling fans.

Coli is fickle with everything. So it is that a couple years after Dark Knight came out there were a bunch of threads about Health Ledger being overrated and Batman Forever being better. Basically a bunch of attention whores trying to be the first to hop on the hater wagon of whatever random shyt because the coli is also groupthink central, especially for negativity.

In a year we'll have threads on how Sasha and Cesaro and whatever other current Coli favorites are now garbage Wash, rinse, repeat

Paige is seeming to turn most of TSC away when she displays this entitled stank attitude as a babyface that seems very prevalent on tough enough.

She might wanna stay off Twitter, being rattled and outspoken on there hasn't generally worked out too well when ur in the WWE

No shade to OP, but Paige is not 'god awful', she's average. And considering her age, her development is at least as good as it should be.

The only thing 'god awful' is the hipster hardcores who praised her as a Divas division savior a year and a half ago because her skin was pale, she had rock riffs in her theme song and she had a few 'good' matches in front of a partisan crowd in Orlando. The problem with these geeks is that once a wrestler get the push that their hype created, the dweebs move on to the hottest newest 'savior' - a Sasha Banks, for instance - while they resent the current crop of top stars (particularly babyface ones) because they're sour about the state of the industry and think every new developmental star who can have a decent match or cut a decent promo are the ones who are gonna change things for the better. Things never change and the cycle continues.

I don't watch the product but I hear she was booed in Brooklyn. That's basically the problem right there because a year ago she would have gotten cheered by that same crowd...in fact she probably did. If you book Sasha as a champion or contender for a long stretch of time on the main roster, especially as a face, her flaws might become more apparent and she's gonna experience the same thing too. Having great matches in Full Sail University in front of a crowd who's already decided they're ready to worship you is not the same as cultivating an unbiased audience in a bigger arena full of casuals or tv viewers.

Sasha is not necessarily better than Paige.
Paige wasn't necessarily better than AJ.
AJ wasn't necessarily better than *insert talented diva who was on the roster at the time*

Sasha has at least one classic match this year with another memorable one. Sasha isn't a flash in the pan like Paige because she's shown she can tell a story in the ring. People keep pointing out how Paige is average. She's not booked nor carries herself as being average. No one is criticizing Paige because they want to be the first to do it or it's the cool thing to do. Just like Dolph Ziggler, she hasn't lived up to her potential. She hasn't accomplished anything for her to talk as reckless as she is. If Sasha does the same thing, I'm sure we'll have the same opinion.

The reason she "probably would have gotten cheered a year ago" in the last year she's been everything the OP says and more. There's truly no redeeming qualities about her right now. She's terrible to have grown up in wrestling. They keep acting like she's on Nattie's level or something when she has been passed up by Nikki Bella Plus now that she gets to show her personality in Tough Enough and Total Divas it's kind of hard to get behind her the same way as before when she was fresh on the block.

I don't want you to lose track of my point...my post wasn't about who's a better wrestler than who. She very well could be better than Paige. That's why I said 'necessarily'.

The point is, in a year after Banks win a title or two on the main roster (if she does), especially as a face, nobody is gonna care who's she's better than. The geeks are gonna hate her because contrary to your fandom, she's not god's gift to female wrestling, just another talented NXT call up like Paige was.
