What people fail to realize is this...in rap/hip-hop...you can't dictate how a nicca should respond. You issue a direct challenge/"call-to-arms", to an entire city that is the Mecca of Hip-Hop, then this is what you get. Niccas ain't thinking about K's intent or how his challenge is "supposed" to be viewed, according to the "purists" or "rap-hipsters"...

This is bloodsport. It's always been. In a sense, Pap reminded this nicca, like, "Dog, you just made yourself shark bait. You should know how it go if you're really a head!"

You can't rearrange the rules because you stan this nicca, K. Remember this rap/hip-hop emerged from the street. Any form of disrespect gets verbally destroyed.

The process of verbal destruction from some rappers who feel slighted by a prior verse might involve a series of subs for a sec...others go in and go for the neck early. Clearly Pap is the latter. No matter how misguided (from a non-rap perspective) or career jeopardizing it might seem.

Whoa whoa whoa I'm not changing the rules and I'm not stanning him either, I'm speaking from the perspective of which I would rather hear. I wanted a solid original record. I don't want to hear this beat anymore. I'm not saying he's wrong for what he did because in an altercation there is not wrong way to respond i'm saying its ineffective approach, and I honestly believe that.

This record doesn't change my opinion on Pap or K dot, that was my main concern, its just a funny diss. Making fun of baby pics and talkin about a nikkkuh d)ck size and etc. Its a roasting session that will be forgotten and I thought he'd capitalize on the opportunity better than this.

Similiar to what my friend's have said IRL, I see you nikkas disregarding the diss track b/c of who it is from. "Oh he need's the attention." "This nikka is irrelevant."

This gopher nikka claimed himself the KONY and any NY rapper that felt slighted should be able to respond. shyt was hot...it's been a minute since I've heard a diss song with DIRECT name calling and shyt.

fakkit ass critiquing nikkas...suck a dikk...this is real hip-hop....:pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit:

The problem i have is why does it take someone telling you to step your game up for you to come back and try to actually rap? A nikka like Fabolous has no right to say anything because he is the king of having one hot song and the rest of the cd is bullshyt. fukk them mixtapes. Im judging you on what you put out in the stores.

You get no credit for being wack 364 days a year then wanna try and show your worth on the last day. If these bums want to prove Kendrick wrong then they need to release a hot cd. Not one track then fade back into mediocrity.

Wow imagine if Kendrick conceptualized that into a lyric and destroyed all of his competition in one swoop

I got you... I want to hear an original record, too. But Pap did what he knows best... as another poster put it, Pap is a "battle template" type rapper. He hears a beat, he's gonna go in. But I definitely get what you're saying tho.

Personally I take that Cure song or Turn It Up over the whole Kendrick album but to each their own.
