dude music in linear as hell. Once u heard it once it’s literally nothing to go back to. It’s no coincidence his albums debut top 10 then in two weeks it’s gone from the charts. That does not supposed to happen if u have loyal fanbase

Nas music is the least linear he's talked about everything from Fried Chicken to Aliens, he got the most diverse content out of any mainstream rapper by far.

And I've learnt plenty from Nas even if it's to google an obscure writer novelist he name drops, or even a song like Blunt Ashes where I'm intrigued to learn more about the greats of Motown and yesteryears black music.

Anyone can put album for 30 years. But his fans abandon his projects after a week or 2. How debut at #5 then two or 3 weeks later it’s off the charts. It’s either nas fans are
Broke
Bootleg his shyt
Nas team bought streams
Got bored and moved on

dropping off the charts that quick is crazy

spliz don’t respond breh lol
Anyone? If that were the case more people would do it. I'm sure Tony Yayo wishes he was on his ,5th album by now. lol

He has a loyal fan base that buys his albums the first week it drops. After that he generally doesn't appeal to the general audience.

So Cal
Where did I short him again? Did you not READ that I clearly said that Life is Good went gold and came out in 2012?

Nasir didn’t go gold and to date King’s Disease hasn’t. So

Hip Hop Is Dead
Untitled
Life Is Good

Thats three Gold albums. All which debuted at number 1
You said he's been at least gold in since 2012, but it went gold 8 years later.

You shorted him on the 3 decades. It's 4. 90s, 00s, 10s, 20s.

Thats factually incorrect.

Gods Son and Streets Disciple are both platinum albums.

Hip Hop Is Dead, Untitled, and Life Is Good are all Gold albums. With number 1 debuts on billboard.

Nas has been at LEAST a Gold selling artist since 2012 18 years AFTER his first album. He’s also to date the only rapper to have a top 5 debuting album in three different decades with the release of King’s Disease.
Since 2002 so not counting God’s Son.

SD was a double album but cool. Everything since has been Gold or below.

The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, becoming Nas' fifth to do so, and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of over 500,000 copies in the United States. Upon its release, the album received generally positive reviews from critics.
Released: July 15, 2008

That's bullshyt Nas got 20 songs that can go against anybody 20 songs in a Verzuz, not only from his pen but for others he have crafted for.
Listen y’all can sit here and name songs all day go into his unreleased catalog that only hardcore Nas stans have listened to do what y’all do

I was in them threads with LL, Pac, Jay the back end of Nas 20 tended to be reaches and weaker records

Im a Nas fan the 1994-1996 version of him is unfukkwitable just telling y’all why his perception is what it is

must be doing something right to be so flawed, according to you, and still be in many people's top 5
