I know some of you are walking around with aluminum foil under your hats. And i get it. I do some weird shyt too. My friend came over last night and she laughed when she noticed i turn my phone off when talking about certain things.
I do it because i know Facebook and Google listen in on conversations. I already proved it once. :francis:
And yeah I used to be one of those people that placed a piece of tape on my laptop's camera. They watching
  • My latest one is when i do a screen-share at work with a coworker, once we are done i dont just end the screen-share. I kill the application i was doing it with (TEAMS or SKYPE BUSINESS) to make sure it's not still sharing before i log onto the coli and some NSFW shyt pops up.
  • All my life ive never taken the same route home 3 days in a row. Got that from my dad.
  • Before i go to sleep i walk around the house and make sure my front and back door are locked. Sometimes i unlock it and lock it back up.
  • I rarely sleep with my bedroom door unlocked. Even tho I live alone. I even did this as a teenager which used to annoy my parents.

  • Scoping out a new environment I'm not familar with and looking for anything janky.
I do that often.

If someone invites me somewhere i'm not familiar with i'll get there 45 minutes early and scope out the place. Like i'll drive around a bit figure out where the nearest gas stations are. Nearest ramp onto the expressway. As for the place itself i may spend the last 20 minutes in my car watching what kinda people go in and out of there.

I always lock my vehicle doors and make sure valuables like money, laptop computers, and other possessions are placed out of sight.

I always look at porn and other things of a sexual nature on a private browser.

I always make sure my home doors are locked and typically set my alarm especially around bedtime.

I always look around for the exits in public places.

When I'm in sketchy areas I'm always aware of my surroundings and I always keep my keys in my hand and walk directly to my vehicle and I lock the door after I get in.

I hadn't had any issue with anyone in years where I've felt like my safety was in jeopardy. If I have a problem with you though, I'm not going to turn my back to you ever.

In restaurants and social settings, I don't like sitting with my back to the door.

I'm mindful of going to anyone's residence unexpectedly.

I always assume it's a man lurking somewhere when dealing with a woman.

I'm mindful using my debit or credit card online and at some fuel pumps.

A man that doesn't say much is dangerous.

Sometimes it's good to keep people who you know don't care for you close. You always know where they are if they out in the streets you don't know what angles they are going to hit you from.

I'd always give those jump-offs from out of town a fake name and background story, it made it easier to cut them loose when I was done with them.

I still case rooms when I walk into them, still don't sit with my back to the door

still look all the way around when I walk out a place

still don't trust drive throughs. You can get easily hemmed up when you're at the window. You can't open your drivers side door

never pee in the stalls in public restrooms

still sleep in clothes

still reach if im startled like I'm actually holding

I lock my doors but always struggled to remember to set my alarm.

This is another one I'm horrible at. I usually won't park near the front. But I also leave my valuables in the car and people can often see them. Like I have an Android phone (personal) and an iPhone (work phone). I'm notorious for leaving the iPhone on the front passenger seat where anyone can see it. And I'm always leaving my wallet in the center console.:snoop:

still habitually delete texts and browser history on the daily, like that even matters. :mjlol:

hell, me and my girl's phones texted each other a whole year old convo one time, even though I know I deleted the convo and she got a whole new phone. So yeah all your texts are being stored somewhere.

Pat my pockets when I get up to go somewhere....every, single, time.
My nikka. I'm checking for EVERYTHING I came with before I leave.

I can't eat with my glasses on. Just can't do it :hubie:

Making sure the stove and oven is off before I leave the kitchen knowing damn well I haven't cooked anything yet.

Some of this isn't even paranoia...just common sense. Shame it's not actually common.
