Same here. I also went before fire.Yes, I’m glad I got to take in a lot of artwork there since it mostly burned to the ground and a lot of shut in there was damaged or completely destroyed.

I had zero problems, I think it’s the Africans that are bugging tourists and fkn up infrastructure for the locals that they are mad at. Once they know you’re not them they won’t have any smoke for you. I was there close to a well and had a great time. This pics you posted look a lot like the Amalfi coast, they won’t do with you especially if you road trip it.I used to be interested in Italy. I wanted to go to the South and see stuff like this

I've heard that Italy and Southern Europe in general are very racist towards blacks though.
I’ve actually heard that before - that most of their hostility is towards the black Africans. This guy I followed did a podcast about it, he went to Greece once and it was awful for him, and when he eventually talked to someone to ask why people were so cold the guy took one look at him and said it was because people thought he was a refugee.I had zero problems, I think it’s the Africans that are bugging tourists and fkn up infrastructure for the locals that they are mad at. posts about Africans, if that's possible.I’m dark brown skin tone and had no problems at all in Italy. Been 3 times but Rome only once.I had zero problems, I think it’s the Africans that are bugging tourists and fkn up infrastructure for the locals that they are mad at. The scale of the Vatican is crazy. So brehs, I will be in Rome a couple of days around the 20th of August. Spending a week first in Ancona (where I lived years ago) and have my flight back to Paris from Rome, so I'll be there a couple days. I've been to Rome various times already, but just wanted to ask here if anyone knew some good stuff outside of the regular tourist stuff (done Colosseo, Vatican, Fori Romani various times already), eventually outside of the city, including tips for nice restaurants you may have discovered along the way...let me know!

Agreed, folks were quite friendly in Italy, unlike Spain (outside of Barcelona anyway) where they stare at you like you aren't human.I’m dark brown skin tone and had no problems at all in Italy. Been 3 times but Rome only once.
Can’t say the same for Spain. I think the difference is that Italians are far more Black people.
According to news reports the locals are tired of them using citizens benefits as refugees, it wasn’t a racist post. Locals don’t want anyone there but locals or tourists that come and go, not people sticking around selling cheap Chinese trinkets and some times bringing petty crime with them.Africans aren't "fukking up" any infrastructure there, let's try to have a thread withoutposts about Africans, if that's possible.
Breh how long is your trip gonna be in total? That seems like a lot to squeeze in with the train rides plus you need at least 4-5 days in each city (except Venice, unless you're interested in La Biennale). Anyway if you do it the best thing would be get in Paris, then the fast speed train to Milan and catch a train to Venice, from there down to Rome to finish your trip. Seems like a lot though tbh, but to each his own![]()
I plan to stay like 6-7 nights… get their first day and relax in Rome. Next day earliest take a trip to Venice (4 hours) then chill out there and come at the latest train back to Rome. Chill and watch Rome and take a train to Venice or the next day. Then Milan. Seems all like 4 hour rides. All I think I need is a full day at each spot. Only one I’m worried is paris. If it’s actually a 20 hour train ride. I might not make that one. If it’s 12 hours, I take the midnight train and get there right in time… we shall see though. I might just change up and stay a night at each spot and get a room.. just the logistics of booking more than one room fukks up my mood. Lol
They love Eritrean men. They got streets in Rome named after Eritrean cities.Italy seems mehh to me. Whats the hoes like over there, they give any play to blacks or are they typical racists?
