Tbh, it really doesnt matter. Uber is illegal in Colombia anyway tho you can still use it. Just takes hella long time for a pick up(15-20 mns avegrage). Taxis are even worse. These dudes are shifty as sh!t and they will set your ass up ... for that fast buck ... #4 I know you heard this before ... Gotta be on your A game in Colombia. Interesting. I didn't know that. I took uber at least 10-15 times the short time I was there few months back so i didn't think much of it. Seemed as easy as it was in any other country. Obviously there's no100% guarantees but at least with Uber there's some record of where you're at at all times, ,who the driver is + their ratings. Also map of the route you can follow along with on your phone.
The fact that he said 5 nikkas hopped in the whip means that either the woman was driving or someone else she knew. Highly unlikely this would've happened with a random Uber (with good ratings).
Yes you can get got anywhere but there's also certain precautions you can take to decrease the risk too
