How come you don't afford this to players you call "busts" during their rookie seasons? Why condemn them in the short term and act like you were right? Like I was saying in the game thread, I didn't care about his stats it was the throws he was making and making it look so effortless. Chiefs had a lot of drops last night. That Denver defense was making it rough by covering everybody tight and keeping somebody in his face. Even facing that difficulty no interceptions, making 30-40 yard throws on the run perfectly placed. Creativity of the throws he was making. Knowing when to run. This was the kind of game that would expose a fraud but he showed a toughness standing in there taking hits and keeping drives alive. I'm full blown stan. Can't remember ever being this excited as a Chiefs fan.
