I will admit that Mahomes definitely exceeded my expectations for him. I had him rated as a future Pro Bowl QB before the 2017 draft. But I never expected him to be a 1st Team All-Pro MVP caliber QB.

With that said, this is the best we'll ever see from him. He's already peaked. I think this year is his HIGH WATER MARK. He won't be this good ever again. Whether its in terms of stats or post-season success. Sorta like how Dan Marino never surpassed his 1984 season.

Pat Mahomes will be a future Hall of Fame QB. And he will be one of the top QBs in the NFL for the next 10+ years. However, he won't be this good ever again.

He's no Josh Dobbs.

No he's not. And as time goes on you and everyone else will see that.

Sports is a marathon. It ain't a sprint. Many a QB have jumped out to crazy success early on and are never able to sustain it. While others start slow but keep building and then go on a long run of sustained success.

Dobbs is the latter. His career is starting slow. But he'll reach heights that nobody in the game right now has or will with the exception of Tom Brady.

You gotta admit he's a goofy looking nikka. I didn't think he had the seriousness in his character to be this good. I thought he had good physical tools but was too corny to be great.

I was wrong. I know its a rare occurrence for me but its possible.

With that said, I was one of the few people before the 2017 Draft that had him rated as a future Pro Bowl QB in the league. So to a degree I saw some success coming. But he's definitely exceeded my expectations.

Darnold's body is awful. Great players don't look like that. He kinda reminds me of Patrick Mahomes in that regard. Neither of those dudes look like they take the game seriously. You can tell he don't work out. Plus his arm is not that great.

Allen looked the part last night even if the results weren't perfect. Mayfield looked herky jerky. No great player looks like that. And Darnold looked like Mahomes out there looking sloppy and shyt.
