So rock exposed the business, threw a bunch of people under the bus, and claimed he wanted to headline wrestlemania 40 at 53 years old having not wrestled in 11 years and have his match with Roman be for the gold while the top face gets tossed in the bushes a year after getting screwed 2005 tna vs Jeff Jarrett style in the biggest match of his career? Then he sticks his beak in to mess up the build for the main event this year to try making himself look good and then bails with no intention of seeing the angle to its conclusion? Am I following all this right?

Understood 100% but that’s how it usually is with attending live shows vs watching at home. Sh!t, for an extreme comparison I had mad fun being at WM27 and the crowd was great, still that’s considered one of the WOAT Manias :heh:

Agreed on 2nd paragraph, that’s how I felt about both nights despite my complaints.
I see what you are saying, I’m just trying to drive home the point that the rock dropped the ball on the cena Cody story but Cena as heel champ was the more important outcome and I think it will be great. I also think overall the show was actually good and not just cause I was there. People are trying to use this as a reason to say the show was bad and that’s bs.

No that’s not it. Based on your POV there is nothing he can do to appease you.

The wwe is in trouble because it's one thing to be publicly traded but still ran by a carny like Vince and his circle.....it's another to now be apart of a conglomerate public company and ticket sales slow down and the higher ups who care nothing about wrasslin, IMMEDIATELY start interfering in storylines to get buzz.

WWE is a traveling circus and that perspective must always be kept.

You think it might be bad with HHH, just imagine him being gone and someone else with zero knowledge comes in. It'll get ugly real real quick

Not really. "Finishing the story" has resulted in one of the worst & most boring title reigns ever.

You killed a 4 yr long built up run for Cody Rhodes, only for it do what I knew it would do. Nothing.

I hate to say it but ppl are right, Cody is a mid card guy pretending to be a main eventer.

He may have bailed because Cody/HHH said no (rightfully so) to Cody going heel

fukk the Rock, they should have just had Cena turn heel without him

You would rather have had Rock end the 4 year reign only to have to vacate the title? :comeon:

Despite the rough start, Rock still saved it, which is ironic because he almost destroyed it too. This year was full on Triple H and the shows didn’t even feel like Mania.

Not sure how it can be all on Triple H when Rock hijacked this angle and then bailed

He did the throat slash at bad blood then comes out as board member Dwayne at Netflix loving Cody then pivots into the sell your soul bullshyt and then dips out

I love how Rock is being blamed for the entire ppv now. Basically people are admitting that they didn't care for any of the shyt that was going on weekly, and they were only interested in what Rock would do. When Rock didn't show up he basically made people feel like they wasted their time watching HHH's bullshyt every week. :russ: :russ: :russ:

They came to him to headline WM 39 and 40. Why? Because Cody and Roman couldn't get the job done. All of this could of been avoided if they had balls and just put Cody over at WM 39 instead of giving Solo a huge push just for him to flounder in 2025 after a Raw Tribal Chief match...lol
