Because he doesn't have to consult with HHH on anything. They have legit beef and people conveniently forget the promo that HHH cut on Smackdown, when he said a few people have a problem "knowing their roles". It's clear there's shyt going on behind the scenes.

LMAO, he's right though. Smarks really think that wrestlers have to stop working in "shoots" like it's a rule or something. No, they just give a more toned down, believable character most of the time.

If that’s the case how would Rock vs Roman been better? It would’ve lead to 2 possibilities..
1. Rock beats Roman for the title, ending his 4 year reign, only to drop it on the Raw after Mania.
2. Roman beats Rock and continuing his reign for another 4 months, then dropping it to Cody at SummerSlam

You still think Cody's story was the focal point? Roman's story was always him beating Rock to officially place him as the face of the Samoan dynasty, but Cody came in with his finish my story bullshyt. Roman beats Rock then surpasses HOEgan and then drops it to midcard Cody.
