I'm at the point now where I hope Love leaves CLE in a similar fashion to Bron and Bron responds in a similar fashion to Riley just to see the complete shift that will take place. Then again what am I saying...I'm sure nikkas would be just as focused on proper business practice and handling things like a man when it's Bron on the other end. I'm sure the blatant hypocrisy won't be very salient to all the cats in here who continue to ignore it in this situation.

"He didn't owe Bron nothin."
"Real nikkas move in silence"
"Who is LeBron to talk"

I can't wait :laff:.

Where is the common courtesy when organizations trade a player without any notice??

Or is that just the nature of the business?

Where did I say there was? Read what I've posted in this thread. BOTH are wrong - the difference is, no one praises a manager for blindsiding a player but some of you are propping Bron up as if it's now right. It isn't right on either side bruh.

yea thats true, he left cleveland to win championships and he did that in Miami.

lol @ the bolded tho. Did Gilbert ever publicly apologize for emasculating LeBron or was that what they discussed at the meeting when they made up? how we all say things we dont mean sometimes :heh:

There aren't many details but I'm sure Gilbert gave him a sincere apology. That letter was heat of the moment reaction that came right after The Decision went off air. I dont think there's any way you go back to play for an owner if he doesn't talk to you man to man about what he did wrong.

His only option was Miami?

I was talking about money....now he only had Miami as a choice.

:snoop:
To get what he wanted? YES, Miami was his only choice.

You are better than this Reb.

Maybe he should have gone to China? :ehh:

I don't think people are propping Bron up..... more so expressing that it is the NATURE OF THE BUSINESS and it happens ALL THE TIME on both ends of the spectrum so why now go into rants calling Lebron all types of names for basically doing business the way that it's done in today's sports world.....

Brolic... Alcoholics
No doubt you're going to have feelings for a previous employer.

trust me...I left my previous employer in January and enjoyed the relationships I had. I hated leaving certain people behind...especially a dude who really fought for me at my old job...but I had to do what was best for me. And I knew it would hurt him in particular so I chose to avoid dealing with that and left without consulting him. I'm happy with my decision. He's an adult....and it's been three months. He's moved on from me. but here we are in a thread full of niqqas defending a dude who:

1. Left a team via fax
2. Hasn't moved on from a guy that left them.

:smh:

I'm not dismissing what Riley did to the Knicks.

I'm simply saying that it's contradictory of him to regret how he did his business initially only to do it again.

How is that acceptable?

LeBron had no choice BUT to take a paycut, he wanted to play with Wade and Bosh. Taking a paycut was the only way it could have been done with all 3 making big money. That's an NBA issue, not a Miami heat issue. If Miami had an uncapped situation like in the MLB we might have very well seen all 3 sign to absolute max deals.

The Miami Heat put themselves in a position to give LeBron what he wanted...and in the end he couldn't even give an appropriate notice before his departure. He was wrong, point blank. If you can just admit that much you might be able to think about this in terms of someone in a position of power instead of looking at LeBron as a possible victim (which he never was).

What is so hard to understand about the concept of free agency? :dwillhuh:
Once July 1 hit Lebron was no longer a member of the Miami Heat organization. He owed them nothing. End of story.

I don't think I have seen one person say that what Bron did was right. Most sensible people who aren't looking to fabricate reasons to bash him are just saying he was within his rights and Riles has no room to talk. Riley is the one being propped up as if he's anything more than a wounded hypocrite.
