That Stephen Curry contract continues to look like the biggest bargain in the NBA even more
I'm glad you said it. Paul George got 90 mill and Steph got 44, smart ownership + nice location + ankle injuries= the biggest bargain in the league easily. That Stephen Curry contract continues to look like the biggest bargain in the NBA even more
All we heard from the owners was they didn't have any money and yet they keep overpaying players. Nobody in their right mind is turning down a deal like this if it's offered. We just don't want to hear the owners whining about money. They could always not spend money and not try, but who would do that other than Philly?
It's funny though. During the lockout all we read here was complaining about how the NBA players should get their money, these franchise players are underpaid, yada yada yada.
Franchise player gets his money: "why he gettin paid so much?"
Can't win with y'all.

Here ya'll go anointing another perimeter player as "the man" who lead his team to the ECF. Hibbert is the reason Indy advanced as far as they did, and they're gonna go as far as he's able to take them.
Completely agree. Location does play a big factor i did not think of that as a reason. That he did, he still has plenty of upside and I like I said, if you have an NBA team located in Indiana you're going to have to overpay to keep guys living there. I understand why they did it but I don't think he's done anything to deserve that much. Basically what I'm saying is if they were the Miami or Los Angeles Pacers he'd give them a discount since he's not an elite player right now.
I mean that happens when a guy starts playing to his potential.Sure, but
1. Hibbert's already been taken care of so crisis averted
2. Let's keep it 100. If Hibbert's your best player, you won't go far. And not for nothin, all we heard until the playoffs was how Roy got overpaid and how he got paid and stopped trying as hard, and how they shouldn't have matched the deal Portland offered. After the playoffs he's the most important thing to their team. See how quick everyone changed their tune?
Look at all them nikkas that left millions on the table to sign with Miami. Not 1 of them nikkas would've left a dime on the table to play with Bron in Cleveland.Completely agree. Location does play a big factor i did not think of that as a reason.

PG's their best player. It's Indiana they ain't gettin nobody. Why they gettin cheap on a player that led them to within a game of the Finals? Man I hope he goes to (insert team here)
These owners are stupid. Oh well. Most of those guys were guys who have already been "overpaid" somewhere else, and at least with the big stars, they're not exactly playing for minimum wage. The 23 year old emerging star didn't take the paycut there. It's mostly the guys that have already made that kind of money that prioritize winning above all later on.Look at all them nikkas that left millions on the table to sign with Miami. Them old heads wasn't taking no pay cuts to go fukk with Bron if he was still in Cleveland is my point. Beasley wouldn't even do that shyt. The only way Cleveland will ever get a big 3 would be if they draft them. Most of those guys were guys who have already been "overpaid" somewhere else, and at least with the big stars, they're not exactly playing for minimum wage.
