The fact that yall haven't peeped that Pierce lowkey be trolling. It's a running joke at this point that he chooses himself in every situation.

He said he was a better shooter than Klay Thompson too.

He wasn’t trolling. He said who would you rather have take a 3pt shot in a clutch situation, himself or Klay? I’d take Pierce all day. Was Klay a better 3 point shooter than Pierce? Absolutely. Was he more clutch? fukk no and you’d be a fool to choose Klay over Pierce in a clutch situation.

Pierce isn’t dumb, he says and words things in a way that makes what he is saying kinda true.

1). The entire segment is designed for Pierce to pick himself in whatever topic they add for the jokes.

2). There is more than a little “Truth” in every one of the claims.

3). Breh is a 10x All Star, 4x All NBA, Finals MVP who averaged 20/6/4 for his career, 15th all time in scoring, 22nd all time in VORP who was given a nickname by another all time great after smoking his ass.

Exactly. People don’t understand the segment. There is some truth in what he says. Just like when he won the 3pt contest and he said he was one of the “better” shooters in nba history. He’s top 5 in all time 3s made, he’s technically right even though he wasn’t known for being simply a shooter.

Step back aint nothing new. You can pull tape on plenty bball players doing it. Any ball player knows if the the defender is overplaying to cut off a lane you use the step back for space. Simple but effective move. They just use an exaggerated step back now.

First player that I seen use it in his game alot was Latrell Spreewell.
