Yea, Anderson was red hot and he barely played in the 4th and OT. Did not have a plan to prevent Curry or do at least foul him before he took that game-tying 3 in regulation. In the one of the last Pelicans possessions in OT, instead of calling timeout he allowed Eric Gordon to take an ill-advised 3 without even looking at Davis

You're absolutely wrong. Monty told them to foul out of the timeout and they refused to do it. Go look up what Anthony Davis said after that game. He explicitly said that Monty told them to foul and they refused to do it. NO COACH can win with that team if they're not going to foul when the coach tells them to

Breh my whole point is if they refused to foul when he told them....then how do we know they're not shooting wild shots even though he told them to get it to AD? Or how do we know they're not doing other stupid shyt even though they were told to do the opposite??

He should've at least got another year. That series is not all on Monty. That team is devoid of smart players

This, the only player I would keep in NO is Jrue Holiday and even with his injuries, dude is a rangy defender and is low key efficient, and I would start from scratch. But it sucks for NO because of eating all those bad contracts.

Lol as if that's any better. The scenario you described is a lame duck coach and a team that has so little respect for him that they routinely, openly disregard all of his calls and direction and just do whatever the fukk they want.
