I thought you had tape on prime Oscar. :yeshrug:

I am willing to put Oscar ahead of him if I find footage on him in his prime like I did on Wilt Chamberlain. But as of now I can't. No disrespect to the OGs but it is what it is. If I haven't seen you play, its hard for me to rate you higher than guys I've seen play regardless of what your accomplishments might be.
Prime Oscar footage is out there but it's easier to youtube his Bucks time which I would still consider a washed Big O(before the wheels fell off) better than the best version we saw of Penny.

Watch prime Penny against the Bulls in 96. It's times where he looked like he couldn't dribble the ball against that defense. He was never a great shooter. He was talented and could do alot at the position because of his height and athleticism but everyone i named above is a better basketball player at the point guard position than Penny.

the same penny who averaged 25 in the ecf and dropped 38 with pippen primarily guarding him. Wtf series was you watching?

homie said Oscar & kidd :mjlol:

Penny was more athletic than Magic as well as being a much better scorer with more go to moves and better shooting ability. Magic's advantage as a passer can't make up for Penny's advantage over him athletically and as a scorer.
magic get the ball in the bucket when the team needed just as good.he just not wowing u with it.

he coulda dropped more points easily.he didn’t need to when u got a goat small forward In worthy Plus jabar to finish anything mid range to the rim.

penny wish he had that iq.ill give you the athleticism part no doubt.
Magic had it but didn’t have a need to utilize it playing against shorter Less athletic competition back then.

I know what he avg but did you watch the games? It's long stretches where he can't even get the ball up court without getting ripped by the Bulls. Old Jazz never had those issues with their midget cac backcourt in either finals series. He wasn't a great ball handler and his shooting was inconsistent beyond mid. There was a lot of raw skill there. Oscar, might be the most underrated basketball player if anybody took this forum seriously. We trying to act like saying Jason Kidd was better than Penny is blasphemy?:shaq2:

The only advantages Magic has is being a stocky 6’9 230 lb. with big hands and being the best fast break passer ever.

Penny was a string-bean but had more skill and athleticism, one of the best we’ve seen in terms of footwork.

Gotta give it to the Magic man,we ain’t seen nobody like him still,Lebron comes close but isn’t as gifted a passer
