The drug use and obesity is more a problem than being soft. Most men throughout history are FARMERS, not soldiers. Most deaths in combat come from dudes running away and catching a spear, sword or arrow to the back.

Americans are raised to be violent from childhood, and if we are keeping it 100, American men are still "harder" than men from Western Europe.

Uncertain grounds
They have esports teams. I’m trying to tell y’all some old 5 star general ass nikka just hating on the nerds

They're definitely hating but they also are seeing their pool of potential enlistees dwindle due to not meeting standards so something's gotta give

I think it’s bullshyt. Every generation is softer but that don’t mean the world gonna end. They enemies softer too. Also, our military has esports teams for most the branches, so if it was that serious they wouldn’t approve and support esports teams. Also, if it was that’s serious where we needed to be concerned for our well being, the military wouldn’t release the news. Just some old mothafukka hating on young nerds to be honest
That was before the report came back and now they see the results. There’s no bullshyt to it. They said injuries are up. They aren’t able to sustain the physical stresses. More ACL injuries, more sprains, broken bones etc. The training hasn’t really changed. It’s gotten less demanding actually and even then, they aren’t as capable.

The funny part is this generation will go online and complain and try to cancel the military, further proving their point of being soft.

So many kids have grown up :flabbynsick: and the reported massive injuries are a tell tale sign. This isn’t even the “he’s got some muscle under the fat so he’s at least strong” it’s “male with wide hips and narrow shoulders” fat.

Look at those injuries being reported, those are classic sedentary, out of shape and weakness injuries.

never mind the drugs lol

What percentage of people in the military actually need to be physically fit though? That shyt is more of an image thing than anything. Most people doing regular jobs. Wars are fought with technology more than ever these days. And not like we still don’t have troops on the ground and need people who are physically fit, but we have plenty of them.
