after a certain point, if you even taking PT tests more than 4 times a year and its NOT for classes/advancement then your career is probably more wasted opportunities and stagnation than success.
shyt, you don't even need to pass basic meeting the standardjust get sent to fat camp, the dedicated nutritionists will bless you, then you move right along if enough folks genuinely want you around. you can go without passing a PT test for years.
If you look like you could one day maybe be in shape - you'll hang around for at least half a contract if your skillset is important and you're likable. a lot of these physical/mental readiness takes are waaaaaay off the mark.

one to deploy, and one to PCS. literally juggled temporary profiles the majority of my first contract because the doctors weren't sure what exactly injury to nail my permanent profile to like some jackasses
