They can arrest all the people that got the loan fraudulently and they can charge them. I think what you are trying to say is that everybody will not get jail time, but a lot of scammers will still get probation. So people might have a record if the IRS does what it looks like they are trying to do.

What they will do is make the scammers do is pay the loan back with that high ass IRS interest from the date of the loan, but that might not be correct because they could choose a different date after the loan. Other fall out is that they can take away government benefits like housing, tax credits and refund and other benefits that scammers are always snapping up.

Don't think they getting locked up, but

Dem wage garnishments would hit harder as there is nothing they can do. You gonna see that additional federal witholding/wage garnishment line and just And if you try to get some off the book job, they still gonna get their bread from your tax return or you setting up a payment plan.

I’ve pulled scams in my younger years, pulling close to six figures before I went straight. But even at that age, I knew that one of the vital rules is that you NEVER try and fínese the government, even if it’s one dollar. They will hunt you down no matter what the amount is.

It’s one thing to take from corporations, who can take “hits” up to a certain amount as they’re insured. But taking from Uncle Sam? Might as well head straight to jail and don’t collect 200.

I would assume that they can strip them of their business as well if they can prove that people used some of the funds to create it. Everyone isn't going to jail obviously. I would also imagine that would potentially fukk with people getting future assistance from the government as well.

I know some people who used the money to create a business, which is cool and all, but not what the money is for
