no way out meant what it meant. I dont think it's a perfect album or even a great one. But it meant what it meant when it dropped. Puffy and bad boy ran 97' on a commercial level..
a classic is supposed to be better than a great album.
yet, you don't even think "no way out" is great but you call it a classic anyway because it ran the radio?
I think pac had at least 1 classic left. maybe his best album.i think the reason pac gets ranked above those cats is cuz he released a lot of material but died still being in his prime, which is not to downplay any of it, thats quite natural, legends are made like that in music all the time , but based on the impact of those five years i do think he would have been ranked favorably regardless, as high? would have to see what he would have done in the following years to know that
but yea, he does benefit from dying when he did.
The only song I might be inclined to skip on disc 2 is Thug Passion.I never really cared for that song.
But I also think it's some underrated bangers on that disc, to.
Heaven Ain't Hard To Find is nuts IMO.He spit so much game on that track , it's ridiculous.
Wonder Why They Call You bytch is one of the most scolding songs about females ever.
I've seen females melt like the wicked witch listening to that track.straight up have em![]()
thug passion is the chit.
makes me want to eat some pu$$y. yea I said it.
only a great song could evoke such a feeling. plus it samples the goat beat.
