nikka you're going by source magazine standards,i'm going off logic. Now way out ran the radio and but not in a force fed payola (but people arent really taking to it) type way. nikkas really was bumpin can't hold me down, been around the world, victory ,i'll be missing you,all about the benjamins's etc. They are bonafide classic songs. They are songs that mark that time in hiphop history. There are alot of songs and albums I like, that might not have had popularity at radio or on a street level, meaning I liked them but knew little to know one else that felt the same. I DONT CALL THOSE CLASSICS. I call those "songs and/or albums i like". THE REASON i do this is because opinions are subjective. So I try to look at it from a democratic perspective (what was the impact soundscan, how much was i actually hearing people play and discuss this music, despite the sales.how much did this music mean YEARS LATER) as well as my personal opinion of the music. No way out is not considered great because it was only the singles that had that popularity, similar to Fugees THA Score. Where as albums like AEOM,The chronic,matw,rtd,lad,GRODT,BP1,doggystyle,bigger and deffer,e1999 eternal, stillmatic, straight outta compton, way 2 fonky, murder was the case soundtrack,400 degreez, ghetto d ETC posses famous album cuts along with singles
