If vaccines protect people from getting diseases, why are vaccinated people still getting the disease?

That's the only vaccine I question, everything else cool.
When experts talk about doing preventative things like: hand sanitiser, water, sleep, healthy diet, etc.
We're supposed to throw that to the side and get a 57 dollar shot that don't even protect folks from the most severe strains.
Until it's 100%, miss me with the flu.

folks are making this a black/white issue where vaccines are either good or evil. when just like everything else there is a grey area. some vaccines benefit humanity, and some vaccines are harmful and distributed for a profit.
but the extreme positions on this topic are equally invalid.

the only extreme position is not getting your kids vaccinated. this is a black and white issue, there is no gray area. look if the only people hurt by not getting vaccinations were those that chose not to get one i would be all in favor of their idiotic behavior, natural selection and all that, but that's not the case. their idiotic decisions impact everyone else.

The answer is that the flu virus mutated so quickly last year that it made the most current vaccine significantly less effective.
