CMR’s longevity & influence speaks for itself :manny:

And they was the perfect example of Quality over quantity

No Limit put out a lot of basura when they we’re both at their height Late 90’s CMR was much more consistent

Cash Money brought the sound & feel of New Orleans to the main stream that No Limit tried to ride the wave of

Cash Money and No Limit made the same damn music…

Only difference is that Cash Money believed in Quality control.

I prefer cash money because of manny beats and BG AND JUVE albums was classic

I like no limit main stars of P, Mia and mystikal and a few others but no limit had too many nikkas like Wu tang affiliates who where straight trash

No Limit had too much going on and too much of it was mid or trash for me to keep up.

Every Cash Money release from 96 - 2000 was worth hearing at the very least, most being dope or classic.

Guerilla Warfare
400 Degreez
are both better than anything No Limit ever released

Chopper City
Chopper City in the Ghetto
Get It How U Live
All on U vol 1 & 2
Block is Hot
are all street classics or better
IMO, BG put out the best material before they blew up worldwide

From one album:birdman:

None of these songs is what I was going for. "I Can Tell" is an R&B song with a rap feature, which CMR didn't have much of let alone were in rotation without really being a single. "Down 4 My N's" is pretty much a crunk song, which CMR didn't really do either. And be real, you picked "Ghetto Children" because of similar song titles.
