ISNT THAT LIKE 6-7 YEARS?!!? :what: and the game was never finished??!!? wtf was they doing this entire time??? how can you botch a remake of a game that's already been made and have nothing to show for it?
eventually the gaming industry is gonna get big enough to where that level of money laundering actually leads to investigations and oversight :mjlol:

In fairness, "In development" as far as gaming goes has an incredibly wide ranging definition. In a lot of cases, a bunch of people just sitting in a room spitballing ideas on some "Yo know what'd be cool?" shyt can count as being "in development". For a lot of these games, some of that five to six years of development is just a bunch of people making concept art and shyt.

the story goes left when they're getting millions to spitball indefinitely - then the process goes ass up when they can barely outsource concepts good enough to assemble a bs trailer half a decade later

Oh, agreed. Half of the cause of scope creep is that there seems to be few people involved that take these ideas, and then ask something as simple as "On, but how does that work in practice?" For as corporate as game development has gotten, it still astounds me how many of these development stories sound like they happened because there didn't seem to be something as basic as actual real world project managers involved. :mjlol:

these nikkas stay looking dumb lmao
The ones really looking dumb are the ones that were swearing up and down that Sony never releases trailers for their 1st party exclusives years before the game ever releases.
