got some gen z cousins and in-laws that's always bytching about being broke, but you try to show them how to get to the money even going as far to try to teach them some skills to embellish and get a nice cushy $45k - $50k job, they still fallback or contemplate and will continue to bytch in an endless cycle. MF straight scoffed at the idea of a having a $50k a year remote job, like it was beneath her! Meanwhile they're doing bullshyt like babysitting and irregular non w2 jobs, all because they have an intense drug habit and dont want to get clean to make some real money
I've washed my hands with most of these young MFs, Try to meet them where they at and put them on game but that "young and invincible" delusion is real, until they hit their mid to late 20's and start having identitiy crisis and feeling like a failure because they look around at their peers and see them doing better in life than them.
every generation of late teens early twenties age range thinks they have all the time in the world to get their shyt together and figure life out, so they'll just drag their feet and drift aimlessly until the onset of their 30's and realize how bad they fukked up, wondering where the time went., why they still living with parents, and no disposable income to enjoy themselves, having to choose between spending their lat 20 bucks on gas or mcdonalds and new phone cases.

Can never just sit back and think to when you were a pre-teen/teen/early adult

Gen X'ers, like me, grew up with parents that constantly complained how easy we had it ,and how much tougher life was for them. (All true). Gen X'ers have turned around and are now constantly flexing on their kids, nieces, and nephews, bragging about how everything was better in our day:
Candy was better and cheaper
Music was better
Cartoons were better
Cartoon theme songs were better
TV shows were better
Oreo Cookies had more cream filling
It was easier to go up and talk to girls
We had more freedom
We had larger circles of friends
etc, etc.
All that is true,
but its not cool to good to rub that stuff in their faces all the damn time.
