Any rumours of Julian going to you guys?

Y'all Pat fans are retarded. It took me two seconds of googling to figure out he's from the Bay Area. Dude probably grew up a Niners fan.

:snoop: Or look into the fact that he was a 9ers fan growing up and would like to play for them..

Like I said it was a rumour. Julian grew up a 9ers fan + free agent + just started to follow the 9ers twitter feed = is he looking to sign with the 9ers?

Hence rumour...

Also what does brady have to do with it? Julian being a 9ers fan growing up, is as well known as Brady being a fan growing up to most Pats fans......

Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders might be joining the Patriots.

Sanders, a restricted free agent, visited Gillette Stadium yesterday and signed the Patriots' offer sheet, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The terms aren't known.

I give up.. I have no fukking idea what is going on with Sanders...

If Sanders did indeed sign said offer sheet, the Steelers have 7 days to match, I believe...

..If the Steelers do not match. The Steelers get the Pats 3rd round pick.

He signed

The Steelers' once-promising situation at wide receiver could be falling apart faster than they imagined.

Three days after top receiver Mike Wallace signed a $60 million contract with the Miami Dolphins, No. 3 receiver Emmanuel Sanders has signed an offer sheet with the New England Patriots that will force the Steelers to match the offer or let him go, too.

He signed

Thanks @3Rivers

So are you guys going to match? Or take the 3rd? I would guess take the pick. You guys have been building champ teams since the 70's through the draft. And your guys cap situation is awful right now...

You guys are pretty good at drafting WR in late rounds. The Pats are awful at drafting WR in all rounds. Looks like a win/win...

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if we didn't match. The cap situation like you said is awful. WR was already a need, now if they don't match, it makes it an even bigger need to go with issues at RB/ILB/OLB/DB, etc.

*edit*

and there's a conflicting report that Manny left without an offer sheet

http://www.observer-reporter.com/article/20130315/SPORTS0403/130319523#.UUP9WxyPPjJ

The Steelers tendered Sanders an offer of $1.323 million prior to the start of free agency, guaranteeing them the right to match any offer he might receive. The Steelers would have five days to match the offer or receive a third-round draft pick – equal to the round in which they selected Sanders – in return.

Sanders left New England Friday without an offer, and of the 40 restricted free agents who were available in 2012, none changed teams.

That’s good news for the Steelers. Sanders will likely be counted on to ease the loss of free agent Mike Wallace to the Miami Dolphins.

Weird situation. Should be cleared up tomorrow
