Like anywhere else, of course there is. It just depends on what the person is looking for.
I know a few people who've moved down to VA from up North and liked it and then some didn't.
Northern VA is different from Southern VA. Certain parts of Northern VA, there's more to do. And apartments and houses cost more in Northern VA.
A lot of people in VA travel to D.C. for clubs and restaurants cause it's not a far drive.
When I said it's nothing to do here, I just mean, it's nothing like New York City or even D.C.
Of course there's things to do, but it's limited, because the cities in VA are not big like Philadelphia or New York City.
That's why some people in both the southern and northern parts of VA just go to D.C. when they want to go to clubs, restaurants, shopping etc etc.
Thanks
I don't know, I guess my thing is, there's so many other places to go besides VA. But it all depends on what a person is looking for.
For some people, moving to VA is a lot better when it comes to housing. Because it's not as expensive as some places up North
For others, it might be because they're looking to retire and move away from the fast cities.
Or it might just be a change.
