To be fair Jay never worked with Neptunes until
Dynasty, but this is true. I feel like people enjoyed Jay and Pharrell but never anticipated their work like that. I remember cats being mad disappointed after the build up to The Black Album when Change Clothes ended up being the single. All the hype towards this big (and rumored to be darker and somber sounding album) with what sounded like a Blueprint 2 joint as the single.

Allure was dope as fukk though and still my favorite collab between the two of them.

They've always been hit or miss. But still have some classics. I Know, Give it to me, Allure, la la la remix, frontin and few duds change clothes, fukk all nite, BBC
