No shyt. The Lakers without Malone were garbage.

Look how the regular season went. With Malone they started off 17-3. After he went down with a knee injury they played below .500 basketball until he came back in the middle of March. With him back in the lineup they won 14 of their last 18 games. Including a twelve game winning streak. It was night and day man.

thank god you and that fakkit malone didn't get that 04 chip :blessed:

the Lakers on NBA2k4 were :whew:

:comeon: Pistons won the chip in by a virtue 3 game sweep, minus the Lakeshow barely winning game 2 :skip:

He should go wherever CP3 at, so he can ride his way to another championship on the back of another superstar:skip::troll:

Lakers had a full team of superstars and Detroit was comprised of nothing less than role players. I still say what the Pistons did is nothing short of Legendary.

nikkas were just mad at how well Ben could contest shots and body around the paint

fukk what Phil says :pacspit:

Malone getting hurt was the last straw for the Lakers but I think they would have lost that series anyway with how poorly Kobe played and him finally tuning Shaq all the way out.

First off the pistons dominated those arrogant bums. It was a five game sweep. Second off, the few times Ben did go down were legit. He's not a flopper and shaq got atleast 40-50 pounds on that nikka :what:

Jackson ALWAYS does this.

The 99 spurs deserve an asterisk because of the strike as well according to him.

Malone was also the buffer between Kobe and Shaq. Once he couldn't play anymore, all hell broke loose.

Can't cosign Phil on this one.....even as a Lakers fan the Pistons got in our ass that year fair and square (n/h). I don't think Malone not getting injured would've made a difference either. He was basically role player status the whole playoffs. And Peyton....I ain't even gonna mention him he was basically a walking corpse at that point
