I said that was a bad trade from the start. Knicks fans were saying how great the trade was...:mjlol:
Got rid of Felton and Chandler...got picks out of the deal. Still support it. It put us on the fast track to a rebuild. Either way we weren't gonna go the distance with Chandler getting sick or hurt yearly and Felton as our starting pg. That trade effectively allowed us to start from scratch

How are you starting from scratch when you're on the hook for 2 more years of Calderon for 7.1 mil? Felton expires after next season, and at 1 year/3.8 mil, he can be moved easily. Dalembert just stinks period. All the young players (Larkin, Early, Antekoumbo) suck too. I don't see how you can look at that trade as a win. Chandler was excellent this year.

Dalembert BEEN gone breh, Calderon >>>> Felton, and the story for the young players is still being written. And you're forgetting about the possibility of getting the number 1 pick doesn't exist without that trade

Worst record in the NBA and the Knicks stay on you muthafukkas mind...what are you gonna do when we are title contenders?

Can the Coli servers handle it???

:lupe:

but you're not title contenders...you're not even 8th spot in the east contenders, so we can make fun of that franchise to our hearts content :mjlol:

If you're honest with youself, you rather be in the Knicks position than the Wizards position. Wizards have consistently shown incompetent management and coaching, and they're going to be stuck in purgatory, because of the lack of building blocks (besides Wall and maybe Beal). We didn't draft Jan Vesely, Otto Porter, pass on Drummond, Kawhi, Noel and Klay, and trade Jordan Clarkson for nothing. The knicks have a top 5 pick and a ton of capspace while the Wizards will be stuck in mediocrity with aging veterans like Nene, Pierce and Gortat and wasting prime John Wall years but hey, we're not in the playoffs. What do I care? :sas2:

Here's the thing though...while Grunfeld is a terrible GM, we still have Wall, who is better and more valuable than anyone on the Knicks roster now and the forseable future. We'll have a ton of capspace in 2016 and all those old guys are poof. The Knicks, otoh, are on the hook for Carmelo's ridiculously bloated contract, and he's just going to get worse from here on out. Your draft pick may or may not pan out...the Knicks have drafted busts the past few years, so I'm not buying the draft pick being any good.

Much rather be in our shoes than yours...it's not even close.

I like how you looked over Wizards flaws which are larger than the Knicks (having a terrible GM IS NEVER A POSITIVE THING....especially if you have cap room), and completely glossed over the Knicks having cap space NOW as well as a top 5 pick.

The Knicks have drafted busts the past few years :dwillhuh: Like who? Knicks haven't had their own lottery pick in 6 years where they picked 8th and got Jordan Hill. Before that they picked 6th and got Gallinari. What draft busts are these that happened the past few years? Knicks haven't had a top 5 pick that was their own since the 80's. :childplease: shut up

Too early to judge Phil's work. This season was a wash no matter what. Now next year they better be in the playoffs and in 2017 they better be contenders.
