The food is ass, homeless ppl & fiends everywhere, most of dc is a ghost town after 7 pm bc everybody lives in MD or VA, the style here is atrocious, and the slang is wack.

I'm moving back to Philly when I hit the CFO level. Philly is a richer city, more authentic, more culture, and summertime in Philly sh*ts on summertime in dc. DC feels like an alternate universe.

I will admit Philly was at its peak in the 90s with the Greek Picnic. Only Freaknic could rival it but Greek was better bc ppl came from all over the country to party for a weekend in a city that can support that type of event.

I'll be honest, and this is from someone that who doesn't fukk with DC like that, but Philly is not in DC's league in most categories. What they've done down over the past 10-15 years is quite impressive. The women are prettier, better public transit, cleaner, growing faster, larger downtown. I agree that the slang is kinda phony down there, and the food is subjective, but the DC area feel like a bigger busier, nicer region than Philly.

I actually do have cousins in the PJs but their family only moved there because they had 8 kids.

I never said there weren’t. I said since NyC has a lot of Haitians THERE ARE POOR ONES, but overall the group does well for NYC standards and has similar incomes to Jamaicans, Trinis, and other West Indians.

Idk what point you’re making about other Caribbean people not being on TPS. Doesn’t change the fact that only a few Haitian are on it and it was mainly given to them because of the earthquake.

That’s mainly because they are blue collar, have higher poverty and high crime rates.

Believe it or not, DC has the 4th highest murder rate in the country right now. They're having some problems down there.
