Fair enough. But Ginger ale is in a class of its own. Some places they don't even put it in the soda isle. Some restaurants too. They put it with seltzer.

Any brehette that respects the liquid crispiness that is ginger ale is my virtual bae....

It has OD high Fructose and its carbonated? How exactly are you removing it from the soda category?

I say tax the corporations who market these drinks. They're always trying to find new ways to advertise to children and hook them for life because they know these drinks are inherently addictive. This goes for most of the processed foods markets by the way. Corn industry is heavily subsidized by our government which is the key ingredient in the Frankenstein lab processed additive high fructose corn syrup. Taxing the people may seem like a step in the right direction but it's really a diversion from the big players culpable in putting profit over peoples health.

They say this about everything. Guilt trip people into siding with them. Couple years later that money is no where to be found and they come back with the same shyt. It's like one of those corrupt pastors always talking about the church needs renovations then you see him pull up in something new and the church still fukked up

If they are going this route why don't they just have a sugar tax instead? Kids also eat candy, popsicles, cereal and ice cream. I guess they don't want to upset too many people at once.
You do it in increments, that's rookie politic shyt, you do it but you do it in increments.

My Pops Forever RIP
Drink soda daily,brehs. :scust:
*drinks soda almost daily*

*still in good shape*

Soda keeps me from actually eating, which combined with my workout regimen keeps my weight down.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go freeze up a Cherry Vanilla Pepsi so I can have it all slushy for Game 7 :ahh:

I would agree but it's been confirmed that they are not going to set up a different fund for the money. They will place the tax money with the general fund:francis:

There will be no accountability in an already corrupt town:mjcry:

It's amazing how little you care for something when it doesn't affect you. I haven't drank soda since 2005. Decided that I was only going to drink water. Haven't touched it since.
