At defense. They score 101ppg. The Cavs' putrid defense allowed Denver to score their 101 points when they played them 10 days ago.
with the excuses for their poor offense. Cavs are a worse defensive team and are only winning because of the refs.

Not at all. Denver's offense is hard to stop and NY has trouble scoring. 'Melo and Swish stopped being passive in the last few games. If Swish isn't in bogus foul trouble against Utah, NY wins (depending on the refs).

If they can start 3-9 with better players, the same coach, same system, good health, and favortism from refs, NY can start 2-8 with worse players, a new coach, new system, madd injuries, and blatant sabotage from refs. They were the 2002 Lakers. It was the 2002-2003 season, not the 2003-2004. They were the '03 champs, but the 02 Lakers. Tell a dude to take a $30M pay cut to gamble on Rose's health, brehs/brehettes.

We look at the year when they played for the title to determine what year team it is
the lakers won titles in 00-02, spurs 03, pistons 04 etc..
that's how we do it.
The knicks had 2 top 5 players in 03 while the knicks got 1 guy in the top 15 and a rookie head coach
