Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
It's sad breh. Let STAT have a good game, and it's crickets. If he even touches the ball on a bad play, it's auto his fault. Dude just keeps being efficient, but watch nikkas come in here and bytch about a few plays on d :snoop:
I just don't understand it my nikka. Its like, no matter what nikkas just don't want STAT to play well or be looked at as a force still :what:, nikkas come online and just straight up bash dude after consecutive 17-19 point 8-9 reb 50-65% shooting games in under 30 minutes.

shyt started last season cause dude played VERY well last year, but he barely played over 20 min :snoop:, he was doing all this shyt last season in limited minutes (not the rebounding though, he has NEVER rebounded this well). If it was not for the coaching staff forcing him to play limited minutes last year AFTER DOCTORS CLEARED HIM TO PLAY HOWEVER MUCH WAS POSSIBLE, I feel like STAT would be looked at completely differently by the media and lame ass internet bloggers. He is still THE BEST finisher in the league off the P&R, I honestly don't think anybody is close and this nikka is 32 and had serious surgeries. If NY naver forced a bench role on the nikka last season he would be getting his PT and credit right now imo.

It's like y'all don't understand that Amare can't play defense what so ever and he can't play heavy minutes like he used to make a bigger impact on offense.
STAT played tremendous in the last two games, but watching him earlier this season I can say with some demeanor that he is atrocious both defensively and offensively. I honestly have no idea where this hustle is coming from, I only know that it will not last. There's a reason why we are in the market for a big man

I have no beef with Amar'e. He's played hard, took good shots. He wasn't a great defender when he was an incredible athlete, so now that he's more average, athletically... You just have to be realistic. I'd like him to be better at focussing, but... oh well. His next deal, when he's making 6 Mil a year, that team... is gonna love him for it.

As far as whining about Melo not getting "superstar calls" :skip: Some of you dudes will do ANYTHING not to blame Melo. The truth is, he has to score to have a real impact on a game. Which is fine, because he's a gifted scorer. But you'll never see him win a game with his passing/spacing/facilitating because a team is keying on him. He's just not built for that.

The Cavs played poorly, and we couldn't beat them. Shump fell off a cliff, Hardaway shot well, Calderon was a non factor, Melo was mostly terrible and took a questionable shot late.

He should finish his career out in Phoenix.

I can't believe this is The Knick team that has set the record for the worst start in franchise history. Not the Isiah Thomas Knicks or the Dantoni Knicks, but the Derrek Fisher/Phil Jackson Knicks. :mindblown:

Well thats the thing. If you really look back on it, those teams had better rosters. We had squads with Steph, Jamal, and Randolph and we knew you could win a few games with those guys, which is why we shytted on the coaching staff. But now were giving heavy minutes to guys like Quincy Acy, Jason Smith at our big man spots. Its so bad some fans even want to see Bargnani come back:huhldup: I cant recall a Knick team with a worse frontcourt. Realistically these dudes (Acy, Smith) belong in the D League. Then we were running most of this season with Larkin as our PG. Again, this dude is a D Leaguer. He got heart and played well tonight, but we seen him the rest of the year.

Couple that roster with Fish having 0 experience whatsoever and Im not too surprised. Also my bad for going ham earlier. I was legit heated over the refereeing of that game. Mind you Ive been very accepting of the losses all year cause straight up the team lacks talent. But they didnt deserve the L tonight brehs :to:

They were telling me these guys were upgrades in the off season thread. :sas2:

Yo next time someone bashes Melo realize that breh does not get superstar calls whatsoever. He gets treated like Denver Nuggets Allen Iverson straight up. We've seen this BS for years now

And get those ESPN bullshyt stats outta here. How does 18 FT per game equate to fukking 6 being normal?

And again, if Melo got CALLS, his FG percentage woulda been higher. He just doesnt get the calls

Breh, I've come to accept that Melo will hardly get any calls. However it still doesn't excuse the fact that he played like trash tonight. fukk it, on to tomorrow's game against Charlotte.

Melo is a polarizing superstar. I've heard arguments on why he isn't a superstar which i think is utter nonsense.

However, you can tell from tonight that Melo isn't a superstar like Lebron

WHen melo is off he is just a black hole. Lebron on the other hand creates a lot for his team even when he has shytty nights

To be fair, Melo still had 10 rebs which led the team, but we still lost so :ld:

This 2 PG line up to close out games has to stop. It makes no sense to have Calderon out there if Larkin is the Primary guard. Who by the way always seems to have a brain fart in the last minute of a game. This is not the Thunders. Neither one is Fisher and damn sure neither of them is Westbrook. You have 3 SG two of them weren't playing bad.

As a sometimes Melo apologist how does that ball not touch Amar'e hands in the final minutes. This has been on a tear since the Thunder game. He should be rewarded with a "STAT go get us this W". If we gonna disregard the Triangle and play iso why not just do the rarely stoppable and rarely ever seen PnR with STAT. It's embarrassing how many times they have done the PnR.

Also this is not the pee-wees. Everybody can't play. With these rotations I wonder if I am just being a rebel against #KnicksTank. It sure is looking like the plan cause it makes no sense why JR or THJr is not out there to end the game :ld:

Melo was top 10 in attempts last year and top 5 a year before that. Stop your whining.
Exactly. I've seen Melo play entire games where all he's done is shoot midrange and 3s. On top of that, he's not athletic enough to finish over bigs at the rim anymore, so there's no reason for anyone to do anything but go straight up on D. Where are these fouls supposed to be coming from exactly?
