I guess he could be the steve kerr player in the triangle.

He's a great fit for the Triangle, but they have to compensate for the fact he can't cover anyone.

And with your current roster having a lot of guys who aren't good on defense its hard to hide him when 2 other guys out there can't play D. But I'd think Phil will look for more defenders in the offseason

Calderon was always going to be a great offensive player, anyone who thought otherwise is crazy

His issue is and always will be defense.

Great shooter, great passer, god awful defense.

So he's a godsend compared to Felton

Considering he has 2 above average skills, when Felton's only skill was gaining weight, I'd call that an upgrade

In the future he does need to have better defenders with him to mask it, but at least you know he can make the right pass and hit 3s.

Triangle or no Triangle, building a solid defense needs to be a huge priority for Phil in the summer.

I can easily see the Knicks going 1-4 in this stretch. Charlotte might be one of the few teams worse than us but their @ home and we're a shytty team too so they might just decide to get their shyt together against us.
