No one is trading for him
Yall gotta trade Melo, his contract is entirely too big for you to build around him. I could see if dude were 25, but he's only going to decline moving forward.
nah we good.

A trade involving MKG and Lance Stephenson like rumored wouldn't be too bad really, but I'm not holding my breath, I expect Melo to be a Knick for a while more at least. Nothing against Melo though, he's still one of my favorite players, but we're so far off of building a contender that it seems like a waste for all parties involved if he stays.Nah, the Hornets most def would and a few other teams would probably surprise. The Raps were able to move Rudy Gay, there's always a trade partner out there if a dude isn't injured.

First that trade doesn't work under the cap. But even if it did. MKG can't shoot for shyt and Lance is the equivalent of JR Smith status off the court. I cant imagine the fukkery those two would get into as teammates. Also it's not like the knicks don't got Cap Space galore coming regardless so trading Melo for it is pointless.
I wouldn't be mad at the knicks trading for Lance but the package should be based around JR and a choice of Shump or Hardaway and maybe Jason Smith.
who said anything about trading Melo for cap room? You trade him because he's not the type of player you build around, lets say you draft Mudiay, Towns or Okafor this summer, do you really think he's going to take a backseat to them in the next couple years?
That nikka didn't even take a backseat to Amare when he was balling. Neither can Shumpert. Doesn't stop y'all from loving him

Stephenson, Biyombo and MKG + whatever picks included, and like I said you can bet some other teams would try and get in on it as well.
If you traded Melo, why would you keep JR Smithwho said anything about trading Melo for cap room? Please tell me how having caproom worked out for the Knicks the last time they had it, why would any of the big free agents want to play for the Knicks, especially when most of them are on winning teams with much better outlooks.
